Quimper / Ergué-Gabéric

Comme je l’ai déjà dit, j’habite à Ergué-Gabéric, un village de 8000 habitants, situé juste à côté de Quimper (65 ooo habitants) -> As I have already mentioned, I live in a village called Ergué-Gabéric ; 8ooo people live there, and it’s located just near Quimper (65 ooo unhabitants)

Je vais donc décrire ce qu’on peut faire à Ergué ou à Quimper -> I’m going to describe what you can possibly do in Ergué or Quimper.

– Vous pouvez visiter la cathédrale de Quimper (you can visit the Cathedral of Quimper)

– Vous pouvez faire du canoë sur l’Odet (you can do some canoe on the Odet , which is a river)

– Vous pouvez  aller manger des crêpes dans la Rue de la Crêpe. (you can eat some crepes/pancakes in the Rue de la Crêpe which contains at least 3 or 4 crêpes restaurants)

– A Ergué nous avons un magnifique complexe sportif : (In Ergué, we have a huge and splendid sports structure) Il y a plusieurs terrains  extérieurs pour jouer au foot (There are several sport fields, you can play football),  on peut jouer au hand, basket, tennis, rink-hockey, badminton dans des salles (we can play different sports indoors, such as handball, basketball, tennis, rink-hockey, badminton). Nous avons un skate-park également (there is a skate-park as well), un bâtiment pour concerts, différentes activités et pour les jeunes (A building used for shows, different activities, and for youngsters)

Je trouve que c’est plaisant d’habiter à Ergué, car on est pas très loin de la mer, et c’est l’équilibre parfait entre la ville et la campagne. ( I find it quite nice to live in Ergué, we are not that far from the sea, and it’s the perfect balance between city life and countryside.)

    Hi Josh.
Yes, it’s not that far from the sea, it’s about 20 minutes from home. We have several beaches, the sea is rather cold even in the summer but I fancy swimming a bit. If you have the opportunity to spend some days in Brittany for the summer, you’d love it because it’s a really pleasant place to live in…
For the French club, I’ll speak about my village if you want !
